This position is a professional role that will work simultaneously on different workstreams of the project, including system design/configuration, data conversion, integration requirements, and reporting.

Working alongside our implementation partner, the Student Record Systems Lead performs the following functions in support of the project efforts:

This position will demonstrate and explain key product features and provide knowledge transfer to other workstreams of the project team, where needed. Once the solution and processes are implemented, this role will be a point person for post-launch support. The Student Information System (SIS) Renewal program is a Boston University-wide effort to modernize the Information Technology systems in order to better serve our students and support the university’s strategic priorities while mitigating the technical risk our current, custom-developed, mainframe based SIS presents.

Related changes to the process and tools for creating student BUIDs and system access, as well as academic reporting and data analytics will also be included. Implementation will occur in phases, with the first new service capabilities launching in summer 2022 and the last in fall 2023.
