REPORTING TO: Manager, Sales Operations

OPPORTUNITY:

The Market Development Associate will support GetWellNetwork’s continued high growth and penetration of the healthcare market. We are looking for a high-energy, driven professional with strong customer service skills, sound business acumen, and strong technical aptitude to join our team. This individual will execute business development strategies for net new business by quickly assessing the business environment and needs of a prospect, then articulating and applying the business value of GetWellNetwork to that prospect. Success in the role will be measured by booking goals and pipeline development metrics.

This role offers exposure to executives in the healthcare space, deep insight into the healthcare industry and GetWellNetwork technologies, and an opportunity to work with a smart, innovative team. The position will require customer and client service skills as well as a market or data analytics, similar to those required in the hospitality and tourism industries, along with many others.

This position is located in our Bethesda, MD office.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The Market Development Associate specializes in GetWellNetwork’s Cross Continuum Patient Engagement Solution portfolio.
• Partner with our experienced Account Executives to execute marketing and lead generation campaigns to build pipeline, support new business, and develop your skills
• Build rapport with contacts by offering resources (webinar invitations, white papers, relevant blog articles, etc.) and understanding where the prospect is in the buying process
• Identify opportunities that meet a minimum qualification criteria for the sales team
• Support dedicated Account Executive in advancement and closure of deals
• Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow-up and communications designed to increase customer interest in GetWellNetwork’s Solutions.
• Maintain accuracy of CRM system, provide feedback on marketing campaigns and document prospect pain points and requirements

ABOUT YOU:

• High energy, positive attitude, strong problem solving skills and the ability to take initiative.
• Excellent oral communications, writing and presentation skills, and a deep interest in gaining experience in Enterprise Technology Sales
• Capable of and eager to make 50+ outreach touches per week
• History of effectively managing high volume of leads.
• Experience conducting account mapping and developing prospecting strategy
• Systematic but flexible, self-directed; can prioritize and manage multiple work streams
• Perseverance; handles objections and rejection
• Thrives in a competitive team environment
• Intuitive with the capacity to hit the ground running
• Experience with Salesforce CRM a plus
• Consultative and solution prospecting/selling expertise a plus

REQUIREMENTS:

• About 1 year B2B telesales or business development experience, or equivalent
• Bachelor’s Degree

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required and minimum qualifications include the following:

• A record of distinguished sound design and sound reinforcement experience at a national level
• A deep understanding of emergent technologies matched by a driving passion for mentorship, students, and education
• An ability to work with others to further strengthen the Conservatory’s cutting-edge undergraduate sound programs, and to recruit and develop emerging student talent
• A powerful orientation toward collaborative work, and commitment to diversity and inclusion
• Demonstrable computer skills from an assortment of software applications such as SMAART, FuzzMeasure, Pro Tools, QLab, and Vectorworks or Auto-CAD. Experience with various analog and digital mixing consoles.
• A graduate degree in theatrical or live sound reinforcement or equivalent professional work.
• An ability to contribute to the Conservatory’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.

ABOUT THE THEATRE DIVISION: 

Shenandoah Conservatory’s Theatre Division is in an exciting period of development.  Beyond having one of the country’s most distinguished Musical Theatre programs, the Theatre Division – which focuses exclusively on undergraduate BFA training and is uniquely situated within a comprehensive performing arts conservatory - includes an innovative Meisner-based Acting program, and an intensive undergraduate Theatre Design and Production program. The three programs maintain a reputation for excellence in pre-professional training and keep a constant eye on the industry, providing highly individualized education in a rigorous yet supportive environment. The Conservatory maintains multiple performance spaces across campus. Main theatre performance spaces include Ohrstrom-Bryant Theatre (a 632 seat proscenium theatre), Glaize Studio Theatre (a flexible black box), as well as Hal Herman Lab Theatre (a uniquely flexible teaching and student performance space that is scheduled for completion by February of 2020). ABOUT THE MUSIC PRODUCTION AND RECORDING TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM (MPRT):

The Conservatory is proud to be home to an MPRT program which includes Grammy®-award winning faculty with extensive national and international music production experience (2 full-time and 4 part-time), an extensive array of resources, and a unique focus (as a Bachelor of Music degree) on musicianship. Students in the MPRT BM degree pursue training in a recording studio equipped with a Solid State Logic Duality console, a 9.2.4 immersive audio room, MIDI and Mac labs that are equipped with the latest array of digital audio workstation software, and a DiGiCo SD9 and L’ Acoustic array system in the main theatre. Students work with a wide variety of microphones, digital consoles, and outboard equipment. The MPRT program is the only such program in the country to have received three Apple Distinguished Program awards in a row. MPRT students have an active student chapter of the Audio Engineering Society (AES), and all MPRT faculty are members of the AES.
