    JOB DESCRIPTION: 

    A permanent position under the supervision of the Director of Development, the Information Services Coordinator provides Advancement administrative and operational support to enhance Cameron’s Advancement efforts and fundraising success. This position will report to the Director of Development and the Vice President for University Advancement and will work closely with the Advancement team to involve planning and execution of fundraising strategies as assigned by the Vice President for University Advancement. This position will also interact regularly with the Office of the President, Business & Finance, Athletics, Alumni, Public Affairs, and Cameron’s NPR affiliate station KCCU.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Provides technical support to other University Advancement Banner users
    • Responsible for consolidation of databases into Banner and to work closely with the general Advancement staff to deal with a wide variety of functions relating to the development, implementation, maintenance, documentation, use , and support of computer-based advancement information systems.
    • Oversee and maintain data integrity through effective database structure, coding for increased engagement and tracking, recordkeeping, giving and financial reporting
    • Manage the President’s Partners program operations to include processing monthly pledges, renewal statements, new memberships, past due notices, and updating the related website pages accordingly.
    • Effectively participates and manages tasks involving the development and execution of integrated digital and mail solicitation strategies for membership and giving programs.
    • Collects and analyzes giving data and prepares reports on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis through Excel.
    • Works with Advancement staff to ensure funds are correctly allocated and disbursed to appropriate departments.
    • Provides work direction to student workers

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience.
    • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
    • Strong writing, interpersonal, and communication skills.
    • Proven experience in analyzing and reviewing computer system capabilities, current operational procedures, identifying problem areas, and optimize formats for data inputs and summaries.
    • Experience using computer tools such as Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and the ability to learn new software applications.
    • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize, make solid judgment and problem-solve.
    • Ability to self-manage and identify areas of need and complete day-to-day activities.
    • Ability to perform basic arithmetic computations where required.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or Business Administration or 2 or more years of experience in related field
    • Higher Education or nonprofit management experience
    • Experience working in database system similar to Banner within higher education, preferably in an Advancement-related area.
    • Specific computer programming and experience in Banner and Cognos.
    • Experience creating digital content for website and social media platforms using tools such as Canva, Constant Contact, Adobe InDesign, or related systems

    SALARY RANGE:

    Commensurate with experience.
