  • Responsibilities

    This position will provide programmatic support to the Head Start Scheduling team.  Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Serve as a back-up to the Scheduling Manager and ensure the contract scheduling deliverables are met
    • Assist in the development, production, and maintenance of the National Schedule, including FA1, FA2, and follow-up reviews, ensuring proper and timely notifications.
    • Identify administrative and operational scheduling errors and/or discrepancies and determine/recommend resolutions
    • Translate information in English and Spanish, and provide assistance to grantees in Puerto Rico and migrant Head Start programs  
    • Oversee the production, accuracy, quality and consistency of data and all notification correspondences
    • Complete final review of scheduling documents to ensure complete and accurate information is submitted to the appropriate audience within the prescribed time period.
    • Prepare, track and manage scheduling communication and responses
    • Provide weekly status updates and ad hoc reports to management team and other key stakeholders as directed
    • Evaluates current processes and procedures and make recommendations to improve the effectiveness, efficiency and workflow of scheduling processes
    • Other duties as assigned
