  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    Performs mechanical maintenance tasks such as preventative maintenance, machine repair, metal fabrication, welding, plumbing, painting and other common maintenance tasks by performing the following duties. Maintains electrical systems for equipment. Perform preventive maintenance system to maximize production time and minimize down time.

    • Dismantles machines or equipment, replaces defective parts and motors, and adjusts feed mechanisms.
    • Cleans and lubricates machine parts such as shafts, pulleys, gears, and bearings.
    • Replaces or repairs machine belts.
    • Removes dust, dirt, grease, and waste material from machines.
    • Paints machines or equipment to prevent corrosion.
    • Bends, cuts, and threads pipe, cuts openings in walls, ceilings, and floors for pipes, and seals pipe joints with sealing compound.
    • Assemble, reconfigure or move parts for workstations & other furnishings.
    • Patches or replaces plaster board and paints walls, ceilings, and trim of building.
    • Clears clogged drains and replaces plumbing fixtures.
    • Operates welding machine to repair or join metal parts.
    • Cleans work area, tools, and equipment.
    • Operates forklifts, boom lifts, scissor lifts as required
    • Performs other routine duties as necessary
    • Troubleshoot control circuits in production equipment
    • Implement electrical/electronic improvements on equipment for better and safer performance
    • Analyzing electronic components and systems to design and develop improvements to PLC systems, mixing processes and production line
    • Evaluating operational systems and recommending design modifications to eliminate causes of malfunctions and improve productivity
    • Repair and maintenance of all electronic and electrical systems of all production operations
    • Perform other duties when requested
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma
    • Four years maintaining manufacturing equipment
    • Forklift Certification
