The EILEEN FISHER Direct to Consumer channel is the greatest expression of our brand vision. The DTC Buying Team plays a crucial role in bringing that vision to life through the product assortment.
The DTC Associate Buyer for Company Stores creates product assortments with the right mix to meet our Company Store customers' needs. This role will play a large part in strategizing new opportunities to grow our Company Store business by supplementing leftover product with exciting and well-priced unique programs. The ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial spirit and is self-motivated to procure the best mix of product for our Company Stores. The role is responsible for partnering to also place orders, manage inventory levels, track product, study selling and collect feedback from store leaders.
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
• Partner to create the product strategy for Company Stores, determining the right mix of liquidation, full priced product, samples, and cut-up packages
• Partner closely with the DTC Planning Team to buy appropriate quantities and SKU's for DTC Company Stores, ensuring product needs are met to achieve financial goals
• Collaborate with Company Store leaders and marketing to suggest product programs to feature in store and weigh in on promotions
• Secure liquidation product from leftover company stock and DTC stores and digital channel
• Write orders for Company Store cut-up programs, providing feedback to Design and Merchandising
• Pick Samples for Company Stores as needed
• Responsible for developing selling reports, analyzing business down to the store-specific level, and sharing product performance weekly and seasonally with teams
• Create informational presentations with upcoming product assortments to share with Company Store leaders and others
• Set Initial Pricing of Company Store Product and initiate markdowns, creating price lists to send to stores and activating promotions in systems
• Communicate with the Merchandising team to ensure that all styles on the DTC Company Store buy are set up and initiate IT set up of style catalog in systems
• Partner with the DTC Planning team on monthly store distros
• Set up Purchase Order Buy Tools and enter quantity projections into Wholesale Systems and purchase orders into Retail System, including PO maintenance of style, costing, quantity changes.
• Visit or speak with stores to gain an understanding of the location, space, the customer and develop relationships with store leaders
• Participate in Retail System upgrade, outlining needs, testing new version

Bachelors Degree Required or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years of related experience in the retail or wholesale apparel industry
• Experience in off-price Buying a strong plus
• Ability to synthesize many data points to draw conclusions and easily summarize key takeaways
• Can easily communicate what is driving our success and what to repeat and expand upon
• Excellent analytical and mathematical proficiency with strong business and financial analysis skills
• High level of experience and proficiency in Excel
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment

The hiring salary range for this role is $65,000- $75,000/yr. dependent upon experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer competitive benefits including a generous clothing allowance and a wellness reimbursement program.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Employment is contingent on initial and continued successful background checks as determined by Boston University and applicable external agencies and meeting all applicable elements of Research Occupational Health Programs and Personnel Suitability & Reliability Program (includes initial and random drug screening) throughout the period of employment. Please note: the standards of background checks, etc. may change at any time should there be amendments to applicable laws or policies relevant to Boston University and the NEIDL.
Minimum of four years related experience in the maintenance and repair of building electrical, fire alarm, and security systems. Experience also in HVAC and plumbing is a plus.
Experience with building automation systems graphical interface, preferably Siemens Building Automation systems.
Ability to read blue prints.
Ability to specify proper parts and equipment for repairs and new installations.
Ability to lift and move heavy items and equipment individually (up to 70 pounds) or as part of a team.
Must be able to safely use ladders and access elevated areas such as catwalks.
Must be able to work in close proximity to animals.
Requires a working knowledge of computer software including databases and office suite software.
The position requires the ability to speak, read, comprehend, and write fluently in the English language.
Must maintain compliance with all NEIDL training requirements, and all safety protocols and procedures
Work requires 4 years of experience with the credentials of a Massachusetts Journeymen’s Electrician’s License and maintain throughout employment.
Must have and maintain valid driver’s license.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
THE NATIONAL EMERGING INFECTIOUS DISEASES LABORATORIES (NEIDL)_ is part of a national network of secure facilities that study infectious diseases – whether they occur naturally or are introduced deliberately through bioterrorism. The NEIDL is dedicated to the development of diagnostics, vaccines and therapeutics to combat emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases. In addition to Bio Safety Level (BSL)-2 and BSL-3 laboratories, the NEIDL houses BSL-4 laboratories that will operate at the highest level of containment. The NEIDL will add to the growing life sciences industry in the region, throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and across the country._
