  • Responsibilities

    General Accounting and Financial Reporting is seeking a candidate that will be responsible for reconciling all domestic cash accounts in an ERP environment (SAP) with balances totaling over $350 million ; examine transactions in these accounts to ensure completeness and accuracy, distributes monthly reconciliation reports to and work with various departments to resolve reconciling items in a timely manner; ensures compliance with abandoned property laws by filing annual reports; and perform special projects to support the functions of the General Accounting and Financial Reporting operations.

    Required Skills

    Bachelors Degree in Accounting. Detail oriented, with strong analytical and organizational skills. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. Ability to demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills. This position will require learning applicable University, Comptroller's Office, policies, procedures, and practices. Experience with ERP desirable, SAP preferred. One to three years of related experience.
