    Do you have a passion for providing high-level administrative support? The BU School of Public Health (SPH) is looking for a self-motivated, detail-oriented, Development Coordinator to provide administrative support as a member of the Development and Alumni Relations (DAR) team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to providing high-level administrative support with a high attention to detail in a fast-paced, mission focused environment. It will include coordinating and managing travel, coordinating the details of events and meetings and managing calendars for the Assistant Dean of Development and coordinating event and travel details with Dean’s office.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Contribution to fundraising support the Assistant Dean of Development’s outreach of current and prospective stakeholders. Including managing contact reports, preparing briefings, research, bios, and agendas. 
    • Oversee and manage the administrative operations of the DAR tam. This includes, but is not limited to, scheduling meetings for the Assistant Dean of Development and coordinating travel schedules, post-travel expense reports and reimbursements, and budget reconciliation.  Provide administrative and logistical support for meetings, to include collecting agenda items, minutes, and dissemination of materials.
    • Assist with events, including but limited to mailings, catering, signage, logistics, RSVPs, registration lists and staffing registration tables.
    • Support with data entry for all Dean’s level event constituents, DAR event attendees, and all form (parent card, alumni, and friends) updated information.
    • Manage the Alumni mentor program. This includes sending communications, monthly to quarterly check-ins, and manage the participation in BBEC’s alumni mentor program.

    Required Skills

    • Bachelor’s degree required with 3+ years of relevant experience
    • Experience working with Blackbaud eCRM (BBEC) preferred or another constituent management system
    • Must be proficient in excel and able to grasp concepts and skills related to an advanced constitute management system
    • Strong business and technology acumen, analytical expertise and execution skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to handle the demands of a fast-paced, multi-faceted, changing environment
