  • Responsibilities

    Plans, directs and coordinates activities of small organization-wide or departmental projects in functional areas such as finance, administration, human resources or marketing. Manages and directs all phases of the project to ensure that the goals or objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frame and budget. Regularly reviews status of project and makes modifications to scheduling, costing, equipment and staff requirements, as necessary. Oversees and facilitates project team meetings, preparing status reports and documents periodically throughout the project. At direction of Vice Chair and Chair, manage department wide projects that have a significant impact and implications for BU and BMC.

    • Responsible for identifying and executing projects pertinent to the clinical, research, educational and administrative goals of the department of medicine; Examples: Creating and rolling out dashboards, assist Sections in creating a retention strategy, work with operations manager, chief medical director, and AD to look at access .

    • Responsible for identifying and analyzing data that measure the performance of the department in key functions.

    • Responsible for creating written materials and reports that provide ongoing and summative updates on projects.

    • Responsible for convening and working collaboratively with key stakeholders to identify and analyze data and to complete projects.
