Our future leaders start right here! The MMTP (Mathnasium Management Training Program) allows for the recruitment, training and professional development of exceptional individuals who embody the integrity, mission, and values of Mathnasium, LLC.

As a Mathnasium Trainee, your learning will be hands-on. You’ll take care of customers, connect with your community and live our values. You will also learn what goes into managing a successful learning center.

Who Will I Work With?

Upon being selected as a MMTP candidate, you will join a cohort group where you will work together during a 6 month training period. All candidates in a cohort group will graduate at the same time and will be working together during the training. Cohorts start every three months. The benefit is that you can match up skills to jobs at Mathnasium.

What Kind of Training Will Be Provided To Me?

Once chosen as a candidate and assigned to a cohort group, you will follow a strict training schedule. There are four sections that each MMTP candidate will have to complete in order to graduate from the MMTP. The four stages are Instructor, Lead Instructor, Assistant Director and Center Director.

Upon successful completion, our focus will be to commission MMTP graduates into fitting positions with an emphasis on international expansion placement. Potential international locations include China, India, and the United Kingdom.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 3+ years of related experience with a strong focus on building relationships, developing teams, and creating future leaders in a growing company.

• Entrepreneurial spirit with a love and affinity for mathematics.

• Business degree preferred.

• Strong communicator and influencer with the ability to understand and relate to younger generations.

• Experience utilizing personality assessment results, such as the DISC Profile.

• Knowledge of personality traits and how to effectively engage and motivate others on an individual level based on their strengths and competencies.

• Candidates should possess consultative sales skills which include: rapport building, active listening, assessing customer needs, recommending/presenting programs, overcoming conversational objections, and closing.

• Highly organized; managing multiple, concurrent priorities/projects with accuracy and a sense of urgency.

• Ability to prioritize, organize, plan and work under own initiative.

• Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.

• Ability to analyze/interpret business reports and statistics, as well as write reports and business correspondence.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, and weekends with local travel.

• Fluency in foreign languages corresponding to emphasized international destinations is preferred, but not required for selection.
