    Job Description

    Chamberlain University is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Manager of Accreditation to coordinate institutional and programmatic accreditation efforts across our nursing campuses. This role is critical to ensuring compliance with national and state regulatory standards, including those set by nursing accrediting bodies such as CCNE, ACEN, and various state boards of nursing.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with university leadership to manage all processes requiring approval from accrediting and regulatory bodies.
    • Prepare, edit, and organize documentation to support change requests, reports, and campus visits.
    • Submit complete and timely reports to accrediting agencies and state/federal regulatory bodies.
    • Coordinate institutional licensing and compliance in partnership with Adtalem’s licensing and compliance departments.
    • Support program evaluation activities that align with accreditation standards.
    • Manage scheduling and documentation for approximately 30 clinical site visits annually.
    • Oversee faculty appointment processes in clinical sciences and track current and expiring appointments.
    • Participate in curriculum development projects to ensure alignment with state and professional requirements.
    • Lead faculty and staff orientation related to accreditation processes.
    • Provide coaching and guidance to faculty on accreditation standards and expectations.
    • Review institutional policies and practices to ensure operational integrity.
    • Supervise one full-time team member and report to the US Clinical Dean.
    • Perform other duties as assigned in support of accreditation and compliance.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Nursing strongly preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in higher education, healthcare compliance, or accreditation—preferably within nursing education.
    • In-depth knowledge of nursing accreditation standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., CCNE, ACEN, state boards of nursing).
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft and edit complex reports and correspondence.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
    • Experience coordinating site visits, preparing self-studies, and managing institutional licensing and compliance processes.
    • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, matrixed organization across departments and campuses.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with data reporting tools and learning management systems.
    • Demonstrated ability to coach and support faculty and staff in accreditation-related activities.

    Additional Information

    _In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $61,720.78 and $111,584.97. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
