Intern at Comedy School Manhattan Comedy School - New York, NY Internship Manhattan Comedy School is hiring Immediate and Fall Interns! Do you like to laugh? Who doesnt! We are looking for dedicated fans of comedy who would like to become our interns! Work side by side with Andy Engel: independent comedy producer who produces shows at several premier comedy clubs in New York City, including Gotham Comedy Club and the Metropolitan Room! He has been producing shows in New York City since 1993, working with seasoned comedians such as Chris Rock, Lewis Black, Ray Romano, Jim Gaffigan, Judah Friedlander, Dave Attell, Dave Chappelle and more! Many of Andys New Talent Shows have been the starting point for amazing comedians such as Jim Gaffigan, Lisa Lampaneilli and Ed Helms! We are looking for college or just out of college people who want to work within comedy, producing, and/or entertainment. We are looking for someone who can dedicate 2-3 times a week with flexible hours (if hired we can iron out a schedule that works best for the intern). We also are looking for a tech savvy person who has basic knowledge of Microsoft, Excel, Outlook Express, and basic knowledge of social media. Most of your time spent with us will be digitally promoting and producing the comedy shows at Gotham as well as marketing for Manhattan Comedy School.
