School Bus Driver/Support Staff (Full-Time) Maritime Academy Charter School - Philadelphia, PA 19137 Organization: Maritime Academy Charter School Location: Philadelphia, PA Position: School Bus Driver/Support Staff (full-time) Maritime Academy is seeking a full-time School Bus Driver/Support Staff member for immediate hire. This position will operate the schools bus as needed for field trips and special events as well as assist with various tasks, including escorting students, opening and delivering mail, and cleaning and maintenance of the building. A valid CDL as well as required background clearances are required. About Our School Maritime Academy Charter School (MACHS), located in the Northeast section of Philadelphia, provides students in grades 2 through 12 a rigorous academic program with the special theme of maritime studies. MACHS students work with the latest technology to learn maritime content such as nautical science and maritime business, while achieving to high standards in English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies and the Arts. Students learn through hands-on projects, interdisciplinary classroom lessons and computer supported curricula in an atmosphere where every member of the school, its community and parents are focused on supporting learning.
