Job details - Title - Poly Operator A Shift - Company - McCain Foods USA Inc. - Job Description - JobDes - SUMMARY Operates food packaging machine and related equipment, such as scales, bagger, metal detector, bag conveyor, case erector and case machine efficiently in relation to material usage, product waste, and weight control. Performs sanitation duties of the work area including the machines. - ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Promotes and adheres to company safety work rules and regulations. Operates packaging machine and related equipment. Performs machine preventative maintenance checks, diagnostic checks, and routine adjustments on equipment. Monitors and corrects codes on finished product bags according to customer specifications. Monitors product flow from feed shakers, Ishidas, and Bosch. Documents packaging machinery data.. Performs standardized testing and control measurements. Ensures equipment runs efficiently and outputs quality product Cleans packaging machines. Attends and participates in all annual, departmental, and job specific required training and monthly informational meetings. Communicates any problems or changes in production or quality to supervisor and appropriate personnel. Understands and adheres to the concepts and techniques of the quality process in order to ensure a quality operation. Keeps area clean and orderly in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Helps to build and promote a strong Teamwork environment in each individual work group, the Factory, and the Company. Participates in continuous improvement process. The employee may be required to successfully complete the orientation and training provided during the first ninety- (90) days of employment. REPRESENTATION Must adhere to the McCain Code of Conduct.
