    QUADRANT HOMES IS LOOKING FOR AN EXPERIENCED, ENTHUSIASTIC INDIVIDUAL TO JOIN OUR TALENTED GROUP AS A PERMIT COORDINATOR IN OUR OFFICE LOCATED IN BELLEVUE, WA.

     

    POSITION HIGHLIGHTS: Responsible for coordination and all permit/plan activity in the division. Duties include applying for permits with the respective municipalities, compiling, updating and maintaining reports, meeting with county officials/municipalities, maintaining files, etc.

      

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Monitors job status through regular reports.
    • Schedules and maintains adequate timelines for jobs.
    • Provide administrative support to department as directed by Manager.
    • Securing permits, including the preparation of applications and the requisition of checks.
    • Coordinating submittal packages to governmental and quasi-governmental agencies.
    • Accurate correspondence typing, answer phones, copy documents, schedule meetings, etc.
    • Order Site Plans for permit submittals, field, and office associates.
    • Interface as necessary with other Departments in a professional manner.
    • Set up and maintain all necessary files.
    • Coding, processing, etc. of permit receipts.
    • Gather all necessary information, plans, applications, etc. necessary for permit package submittal.
    • Obtain all necessary permits prior to construction start date (including building, water, sewer, etc.)
    • Distribute permit start package to site prior to construction start date.
    • Obtain all necessary plan revision approvals as required and distribute revised plans and paperwork.
    • Scan documents (structural calculations, approved basic plans, approved site plans, etc.) and print site copies as needed.
    • Create, manage, and maintain the department’s community files and job folders (electronic and/or hardcopy versions)
    • Coordinate special courier deliveries as needed
    • Coordinate submittals, pick-ups, payments, etc. with permit expediters.
    • Other duties may be assigned.

     

    POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

    • High school diploma required
    • A minimum of 1 year of experience in the Home Building Industry required.
    • Experience with AutoCAD and Bluebeam preferred
    • Demonstrates a commitment to the Company Mission.
    • Develops and maintains respect and harmony with all Team Members and Leadership Team
    • Develops and maintains excellent working relationships with government agencies, permit expediters, and vendors.
    • Exercise initiative in organizing and completing assigned tasks according to established guidelines, safety standards, procedures, deadlines, and department parameters.
    • Expected to meet established productivity and task management standards or seek assistance.
