AS A PRODUCTION DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER - FULL STACK, YOU WILL WORK ON DESIGNING AND DEVELOPING AN INTEGRAL INTERNAL FULL STACK WEB APPLICATION FOR COMPANY-WIDE PRODUCTION MONITORING AND REPORTING.  YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO OWN THE APPLICATION AND MANAGE A COMPLEX FEATURE SET FROM END-TO-END THAT WILL IMPACT THE GROWTH OF THE ORGANISATION.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?  

• Design and build front-end application architecture.
• Database design and implementation.
• Develop RESTful Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).
• Manage deployments, upgrades and maintenance of applications (at multiple locations worldwide).
• Write scripts to perform ad-hoc data collection and analysis of manufacturing data.

WHAT DO WE LOOK FOR IN YOU? 

• Relevant experience in software development/programming and proficiency in Python and Javscript.
• Familiarity with relational/NoSQL database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Experience in the telecommunications industry and/or electronics manufacturing industry will be an advantage.
• Strong technical problem-solving skills, and demonstrable experience at solving real world problems in innovative way.
• Familiarity with some frontend and backend frameworks such as Vue.js/React, Flask/Django/Node.js is a plus.
• Understanding software development concepts including version control, unit testing, code review, CI/CD, containerisation will be well regarded.
