    POSITION SUMMARY

    Assist in making decisions and taking actions that ensure the proper operation of the Company quality management system and the quality of products and services to the customer.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

    • Use and maintain equipment (calibration, repair and record-keeping);
    • Coordinate witness testing with customers
    • Perform dimensional and mechanical inspection of samples
    • Perform metallographic presentation of samples for inspection, Rocap, tipshear test, Pre installation verification text, and analysis as needed;
    • Metallurgical problem solving of defective product;
    • Set up inspection reports in software;
    • Identify and control non-conforming product, ensuring that all non-conforming qualities are documented;
    • Involve supplier as required to assist in resolving issues;
    • Complete inspections, and other customer specific inspections as directed by management;
    • Perform other duties as assigned by the direct supervisor;

     

    QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES  

    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • 3+ years related experience in a quality lab with advanced inspection equipment and techniques for metallurgical analysis preffered
    • Knowledge of industrial fasteners and RCSC standards
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Strong computer skills, with basic Microsoft Outlook and Excel knowledge; ability to learn new software quickly
    • Problem solving abilities and strong attention to detail
    • Excellent team player and individual contributor
    • Ability to stand and inspect product continually each day
    • Ability to lift and move up to 40 lbs. when necessary
    • Basic math skills

  • Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree required
    • Juris Doctor and litigation practice experience helpful
    • At least four years' experience with managing e-discovery projects
    • Extensive experience with software and hardware used in e-discovery; specific experience with Relativity is helpful
    • Thorough knowledge of the e-discovery process, including evolving standards created through case law, rules, and industry trends, and of e-discovery/litigation support services and technologies
    • A commitment to deliver the highest quality service to internal and external customers
    • Able to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously with a high degree of professionalism and client service orientation
    • Skilled at meeting strict deadlines under significant time constraints
    • Superior communication skills
    • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
    • On site during normal working hours and available off-hours when necessary; a flexible schedule is required
    • Ability to engage in off-site travel as required to meet job demands and firm needs
    • Required to monitor and respond to email and phone calls after hours and weekends
