Responsibilities are as follows: 1. Serve as Receptionist at the Department Main Office Desk; greet and assist all visitors into the main office and guide visitors when needed; stock and re-order supplies (office supplies, consumables, food, coffee, water); assist with seminars by setting up coffee/food, cleaning seminar room tables, and clean up/wash dishes after seminars; print and place conference room calendars daily and schedule meetings onto the calendars; deliver, pick up and sort Department mail daily; work on Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, filing, to organize office information, as assigned. 2. Other work assignments as determined. Unit Specific Education/Experience/Skills Knowledge normally acquired through a high school education; six months to one year of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in maintaining accurate records, data entry, word processing, typing and/or balancing cash receipts; or knowledge of technical or medical terminology and/or technical training related to the field of employment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Desired Qualifications Desire excellent professional and friendly communication skills (verbal and written) and with a positive customer service focus; Ability to work well in a high traffic office with a fast-paced team environment; Commitment to timely completion of assigned work with a high level of initiative, integrity, and professionalism.
