    Coordintor of Sports Information Full-Time, Benefited Position Number: 00027276 (Internal/External) Position Summary This position develops and coordinates all strategies and activities related to marketing, ticketing, and promotions for the institutions athletic department. This is a vital engagement position to increase attendance, fan excitement, community support, and student experience. This position reports directly to the Director of Athletics (or his/her designee), keeping him/her abreast of all planning, organizing and development of the Athletic Departments marketing, ticketing, and promotional efforts. Serves as a member of the athletics administrative team planning, implementing, and executing activities to improve game atmosphere, brand awareness and attendance at all MSU athletic events. Position and Responsibilities -External promotion of events. -Contact for media. -Coordinator and producer of official departmental releases. -Works with ADA-SC to coordinate all interviews with administration, staff, coaches, and students. -Members of departments creative team. -Editor for all departmental publications. -Ability to create, compose, and edit written material. -Works with ADA-SC to coordinate all photography services. -Member of graphic standards team. -Responsible for coordination and production of radio broadcast, web streaming, and television. -Coordinator of all departments presence on the World Wide Web, including content and design. -Coordinates daily maintenance and updating of athletic department website. -Coordinates content, as well as use and design of our web presence for the athletic department. -Coordinates technical aspects of running Game Day. -Member of publicity team for all aspects of Minot State University Athletics. -Ability to develop and maintain recordkeeping systems and procedures. -Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately. -Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information. -Ability to interact in an effective and appropriate manner with diverse populations, the University community and the public. -Ability to detect and correct grammatical and spelling errors in written correspondence. -Ability to maintain files accurately, in paper and in software programs. -Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. -Ability to effectively coordinate events and programs with the media. -Ability to make frequent trips to locations outside of the University area. -Perform other job-related duties as assigned.Administration -Strong organizational skills and detail oriented. -Actively involved in special host opportunities (ex. State B Tournaments)Minimum Qualifications Bachelors Degree is required. 1-3 years of experience in intercollegiate athletics, preferred.
