    Job Description

    Job Overview

    The Motor Pool oversees the University’s motor pool, golf cart rental, and shuttle operations. This role manages vehicle and cart reservations, assignments, documentation, maintenance coordination, billing accuracy, and customer service. The position also supports shuttle tracking systems and toll transponder administration to ensure efficient and reliable transportation services.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage daily motor pool operations, including vehicle reservations, assignments, and coordination with external rental agencies.
    • Oversee golf cart reservations and distribution, securing additional carts through rental agencies when needed.
    • Maintain rental agreements and ensure vehicles and carts are clean, maintained, and operational.
    • Provide professional customer service and support to University customers.
    • Review and ensure accuracy of billing from vehicle and golf cart rental agencies.
    • Oversee shuttle operations, including ridership tracking, BusWhere functionality, driver scheduling, and shuttle tracking devices.
    • Manage I-PASS toll transponders and stickers, including assignment to University vehicles and departmental billing.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Education

    • Associate’s degree or up to three (3) years of college or technical school.

    Experience

    • One (1) to two (2) years of related experience.

    Skills and Knowledge

    • Strong customer service and communication skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
    • Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    Additional Information

    Salary: $55,000/yr Commensurate with Experience
