    OR CIRCULATING RN 

    United Pacific Surgery Center, in Tarzana, California, is a Medicare Certified and Joint Commission Accredited multi-specialty surgery center consisting of 3 operating rooms and one procedure room performing Orthopedic, General, Breast, Gynecological, Podiatric, GI, ENT and Urology procedures. We are looking to add an experienced, energetic and well qualified Operating Room Circulating RN to our team of dedicated, hard-working and results driven individuals, to make this center the first choice for ambulatory surgery in the San Fernando Valley. 

    Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some later evenings required. Competitive salary and benefits.   

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Candidates will have graduated from an accredited school of nursing
    • Holds a current unrestricted license to practice in the State of California.
    • Current American Heart BLS and ACLS certification and experience working as a circulator required.
    • PALS within 90 days of employment.
    • With minimum 2 years experience preferably in an ambulatory surgery setting
    • Familiarity with all operating room equipment
    • Familiarity with environmental parameters in the operating room setting
    • Familiarity with Outpatient Total Joints, Urology and Spine Cases
    • Extensive Orthopedic experience with Total Joints and Higher Acuity cases
    • Familiarity with Joint Commission and CMS standards and accreditation processes
    • Effective implementation of the Time Out process and Wrong Site Surgery Prevention Protocols
    • Pediatric surgical patients
    • Ability to communicate effectively with the entire OR team

     

    Required Skills Required Experience

    United Pacific Surgery Center complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce.  If you are offered this position and must be vaccinated under any applicable law, you will be required to show proof of full vaccination or obtain an approval of a religious or medical exemption prior to your start date.  If you receive an exemption from the vaccination requirement, you will be required to submit to regular testing in accordance with the law. 

  • Qualifications
