CITRUS HEIGHTS_ _CENTER OF SURGERY, is seeking a motivated SURGICAL SCRUB TECH/MATERIALS MANAGEMENT TECHNICIAN to join a new multi-specialty surgery center that is to open its doors in December 2021. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Material Management Technician to join this center from its inception.
The Materials Management Technician is responsible for the procurement for all supplies in the hospital with the exception of food and drugs. The responsibility of the position includes ordering and receiving of supplies, stocking supplies and assisting Accounts Payable with invoice packets. This person will also oversee our sterile processing department. We are looking for a highly motivated Material Management Technician with lots of energy. This person must be active as 90% of this position is physical activity.
Position Requirements:
Surgical Tech Surgical Tech wanted for fast-paced, multi-specialty Surgery Center in Santa Clarita. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, self-directed, impeccable aseptic technique, desire for a small cohesive team. 1- 2 yrs. experience required; Ortho, General, GYN and Urology experience needed, GI endoscopy a plus. Current BLS certification required. Monday – Friday days, no weekends, no holidays. Additionally, the candidate we are looking for individuals that:Scrub with flawless aseptic technique in a fast-paced environment and possess a strong surgical conscience. Have the will and the skill to complete multiple detail-oriented tasks in addition to scrubbing; such as picking cases, managing supply inventory, assisting Materials Manager and Central Processing dept. personnel to name a few.Demonstrate professional behavior and a positive "can-do" attitude. Adhere to facility policies. Demonstrate ability to work within a cohesive team that aims for optimum patient safety.
