    What you’ll be doing:

    In this role, you will make a direct impact on the health and well-being of our members through the coordination, implementation, and/or delivery of health and fitness improvement programs and services, fitness center promotions and outreach activities. You will provide individual and group exercise instruction, monitor fitness facility and conduct fitness testing and assessments, advising participants of the results and designing individualized programs to meet the members’ interests, abilities and goals. Other duties as-needed/assigned.

    Client site is located in the 901 Building next to Merritt Parkway (Rt15). Candidates must have the availability during the days/hours of: Monday - Thursday 6am-6pm; Friday 6am-2am.


    What you’ll bring with you:

    • Associate's degree in a related field (Kinesiology, Exercise Science, etc.) or the equivalent combination of education, industry experience and current certification(s) from a HealthFitness approved provider.
    • Current Adult First Aid and CPR/AED certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute.
    • Industry recognized Group Exercise certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NCCPT or NETA.
    • Personal Training certification from an industry recognized and HealthFitness approved provider.
    • Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

     Build close relationships with functional stakeholders.

    1. Coordinate and manage learning solution delivery.
    2. Configuration and preparation of learning environment.
    3. Cross-functional collaboration with other business and regional resources.
    4. Coordinate instructional design and other development and delivery resources as necessary.
    5. Coordinate’s training need analysis.
    6. Maintains records of training activities and employee progress and monitors for effectiveness
    7. Delivery of training materials, exercises and discussion
    8. Support teams on assessing facility and individual training needs
    9. Utilize current training materials and customize to specific assigned customer.
    10. Organizes and develops or obtains training procedure manuals, guides and course materials.
    11. Evaluates training materials prepared by instructors, such as manuals, outlines, text, and handouts.

    LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT

     In addition, this position will be responsible for the following:

    1. Training, teaching and coaching more complex courses
    2. Assist in conduct learning needs analysis with supervisors and employees to determine performance gaps and missed opportunities for a defined role.
    3. Designs, develops and delivers course content using effective adult learning strategies.
    4. Assist in making recommendations for class participants, timing and courses for various functions in the business for assigned classes
    5. Be a trusted advisor to team for learning opportunities and needs of employees.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

     Associates Degree in Multi-craft Maintenance with robotics maintenance certification is required. Train the Trainer certification is preferred.

    1. Minimum of 3 years of experience training employees to perform multi-craft maintenance duties is preferred.
    2. Experience training employees in a large manufacturing environment is preferred.
    3. At least 3 year working in a manufacturing facility is required.
    4. Ability to facilitate training in small to large groups is required.
    5. Must be able to travel to out of state locations to attend training and support other locations as needed.
    6. Must be willing to work on various shifts to support the needs of the business.
    7. Ability to interface with Automated Systems and training databases is required.
    8. Strong written & verbal communication skills are required.
    9. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
    10. Must be able to effectively multi-task assignments.
