Nature & Ecology Instructors facilitate hands-on learning about the natural world through active lesson plans and nature crafts. Nature & Ecology Instructors lead nature-related activities throughout camp, like guiding hikes, assisting campers with a recycling/composting program, and facilitating craft-based lessons on topics such as the food chain or the water cycle. Nature staff work together to effectively teach curriculum and enhance campers’ knowledge of their environment.

The Gardening Instructor facilitates the planning and cultivating of our camp vegetable garden, and introduces campers to food science and sustainability. The Gardening Instructor teaches children the basics of composting, water conservation, and other sustainability measures.

Applicants must be college-aged or older. Applicants must have an interest in science and nature, as well as a knowledge or interest in gardening (can be a hobby!).
