Working with young children in a camp environment is an ideal starting point for students hoping to pursue people-oriented or education-based professions. The skills that camp builds (leadership, teamwork, problem-solving, community building, and so on) are valued and valuable in the post-grad workplace.

• The Nature/Ecology Instructor facilitates hands-on learning about the natural world through active lesson plans and nature crafts.
• Duties range from leading nature hikes to assisting campers with a recycling/composting program, to leading craft-based lessons on topics such as the food chain or the water cycle.

• All staff members must be college-aged or older and have summer housing available to them in the greater Los Angeles area.

• Staff members should be prepared to commit to a full ten-week summer of Monday - Friday work weeks. Our 2016 season runs from June 12 - August 18.
