    POSITION OVERVIEW:

    The IT Associate, will report to the CTO at the Headquarters office in Herndon, Virginia. This role will provide general IT customer services to internal employees and external customers. This position will also work with the development team on basic application testing, training., and production support  

    This is a full-time position with general office hours of Monday through Friday, 9:00-5:30 in Herndon, Virginia. Remote work is not available for this role.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Assist company IT product rollout by performing UAT tests and producing related technical training materials;

    Strong communication with the China Production Team for the release of the internally developed software system;

    Production support is a major component of the role, communicate with internal employees and external customers;

    Provide tier-one support of the company IT products to internal users and external users such as the schools and the host families;

    Manage Employee MS outlook email account, Sharepoint account, and other company application accounts;

    Identity and resolve technical issues related to various applications;

    Support employee on-boarding and off-boarding from IT perspective, including; creating/disabling accounts, installing/uninstalling laptops, configuring software, and recalling IT equipment;

    Respond to telephone calls, emails, and requests for IT support;

    Document, track, and monitor IT issues to ensure a timely resolution;

    Maintain Office IT-related equipment;

    Work with vendors on IT related contract, warranty repairs, and issue resolution;

    Other tasks assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems;

    Preferred 1+ years of Sharepoint;

    Experience in Production Support;

    Excellent communication and customer services skills;

    Effective time management skills, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task;

    Experience in hardware and software testing, networking environments, programming, firewall, and internet applications.
