    Position Summary

    The Wellness Specialist assists in the improvement of the overall wellness and health of the organization and its collaborators, by identifying, developing, and implementing health and wellness programming using knowledge of health standards and wellness principles alongside leadership. The Wellness team is tasked with ensuring open access to wellness programs and outcomes across all demographics.

    Essential Function and Responsibilities:

    • Process reporting into and out of wellness platform.
    • Partner with vendors and internal departments as needed to organize monthly Lunch and learns and our annual wellness fair.
    • Assist in the creation and facilitating of Wellness committee.
    • Assist in specialized programming based on collaborator needs.
    • Build and send communications including quarterly reminders, challenges, and events.
    • Work to match engagement with demographic makeup of the organization.
    • Identifies and makes recommendations on areas of improvement in processes or policies within the function.
    • Participates in the successful implementation of other Collaborator Experience projects as they arise.

    Minimum Required Qualifications:

    • Some college required, associate degree typical.
    • Typical experience of 2 years in Public Health Wellness.
    • Proficiency in leading and facilitating meetings is preferred.
    • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Possesses a basic understanding of health standards and wellness principles, including compliance around wellness programs.

    All new hires are required to attend New Collaborator Orientation (NCO) in Salt Lake City, Utah. The College will pay for travel and lodging accommodations.
