We are looking for an HR Business Partner to help support the operational effectiveness of Nightingale College. The incumbent is accountable for promoting and supporting an environment conducive to innovation, positive thinking, and growth, in alignment with the College's mission, vision, Evolvitude, and other institutional frameworks.

    Position Summary:

    The Business Partner will act as a strategic partner, a change agent, and an administrative expert. As the Business Partner learns the inner workings of Nightingale College and understands how the goals of the function fit into the bigger picture, they will execute on the people side of those goals and strategies. The Business Partner will ensure that recruiting is started as early as possible and will guide the function leader through processes that require assistance from Collaborator Experience (HR). The Business Partner will coach, educate, and execute policy and procedures throughout Nightingale College that fit the needs, goals, and aims of the College and its top leadership. The Business Partner will join with leaders to act as stewards of our culture.

    Role and Responsibilities:

    • Conducts regular meetings with respective business units.

    • Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.

    • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies.

    • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues.

    • Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.

    • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.

    • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).

    • Works closely with management and collaborators to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.

    • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.

    • Develops contract terms for new hires, promotions, and transfers.

    • Provides guidance and input on business unit restructure, workforce planning, and succession planning.

    • Identifies and develops HR related training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.

    • Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications and Education Requirements:

    • 8-10 years of previous experience in an HR Generalist position.
    • 5+ years as an HR/People Business Partner (HRBP, PBP) supporting individual contributors through Executives.
    • Minimum eight (8) years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues.
    • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
    • Proactively supports the delivery of CX processes at the client's side.
    • Manages complex and difficult CX projects cross-functionally.
    • Builds a strong business relationship with the function leader.
    • Actively identifies gaps, and proposes and implements changes necessary to cover risks.
    • Facilitates the management team to bring best solutions for collaborators.
    • Acts as the performance improvement driver and provokes positive changes in collaborator management.
    • Designs succession plans for key talents and key job positions.
    • Acts as a single point of the contact for the collaborators and managers in the business unit.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, customer service, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
    • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
    • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
    • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
