    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The primary responsibility of the Marketing Communications (MARCOM) Specialist is to propel Nightingale College's brand's image through consistent messaging and strategy. They do everything from oversee the development of brand collateral to developing internal and external communications channels Nightingale College uses to communicate with our key audiences – prospects, learners, alumni, SOFE partners and collaborators.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    The MARCOM Specialist is responsible for the following:

    • Develop and manage all marketing-related public relations (PR)
    • Represent to College to our Public Relations agency partner regarding all marketing PR needs
    • Direct content direction for the College's social media sites (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Instagram) that follows content calendar best practices, that is engaging and supports the College's mission, vision, and strategic goals
    • Develop and manage all marketing related public relations (PR)
    • Develop and manage the College's content SEO system
    • Represent to College to our Public Relations agency partner regarding all marketing PR needs
    • Collaborate with Corporate Communications Manager on projects as needed
    • Provide learners, alumni and collaborators with authentic, entertaining and educational experiences through the development of innovative and dynamic storytelling
    • Research the sociology, psychology and anthropology of the learners in each area and advise the marketing department on learner behaviors
    • Collaborate with the Marketing Director on the word-of-mouth referral campaigns
    • Assist the Marketing Director in new area launch campaigns
    • Ensure all content is compliant with accreditors and regulatory department
    • Participate in College events (graduation, open houses, orientations, conferences, and Flame Forward)
    • Direct and write marketing content for blog, website, brochures, etc.
    • Exemplify the company's culture
    • Assist in identifying marketing trends
    • Assist the Marketing Director in additional duties as assigned
    • Other duties such as event and conference preparation as assigned
    • Use of Marketing communications tools including the channels used to promote our messaging. These channels can consist of:
    • o print and digital display advertising
    • o ppc search and SEO content
    • o mass media (TV, Radio, Outdoor)
    • o trade show materials
    • o social media
    • o websites and landing pages
    • o email marketing
    • o public relations
    • o packaging

    MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor's degree preferred
    • 5 years of previous marketing communications/public relations experience required
    • Comfortable working in a highly collaborative environment
    • Ability to collect, analyze, and effectively use qualitative and quantitative marketing data
    • Proficient with English grammar and spelling is mandatory
    • Proficiency in the following programs: Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, Cision and/or Meltwater PR software and Canva
    • Some remote work and travel is required
