- Job Description The Marketing Intern is an integral team member of the
Marketing Department and will be asked to attend Marketing Team Meetings
if available. The Marketing Intern is responsible for the following: +
Assist with the day-to-day operational needs of the marketing department
- Assist in writing and submitting blog articles and PR materials such
as media releases + Create graphic designs for digital and printed
marketing materials + Assist in managing the editorial and content
calendar + Contribute to other content creation and strategy for
channels such as Facebook, YouTube, etc. + Assist with website content
audits and updates + Collaborate with the marketing team on current
marketing campaigns and creating new campaigns The Marketing Intern may
be assigned additional projects that involve creative design work for
marketing materials such as brochures and flyers, and may also be asked
to contribute to video creation and production. - · Currently pursuing a
bachelors degree in communications, marketing, or related field. Recent
graduates with a bachelors degree in communications or marketing will be
considered · Excellent written and communications skills · Proficient in
all Microsoft Office products · Versed in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign,
and/or Premiere · Eager to learn skills across a variety of marketing
specialties · Comfortable working in a highly collaborative environment
and ability to work independently and proactively · Prior experience in
a marketing or communications role preferable but not necessary - The
position is based at the Draper DDC It is a part time position and will
pay $1000.00 for the quarter. The preceding job description has been
