This position has the ability to work closely with multiple departments to identify and solve business needs within the Ceridian HCM Dayforce system. Ideal candidates have had coursework or experience in system configuration, system administration, and statistics or higher level math. Prior experience, either on the job or within course work, has come from working in systems like Work Day, NetSuite, People Soft or any SAS system. The HRIS Systems Analyst serves as a resource between Human Resources, Payroll, and the Information Technology Department and a liaise with Ceridian Dayforce HCM. The primary focus of this entry level position is the support and maintenance of the Human Resource Information System (HRIS). This well-organized, analytical thinking individual serves as a technical point-of-contact and assists with ensuring data integrity, HRIS upgrades, testing of system changes, patches, file feeds to 3rd party vendors, report writing, and analyzing data flows for system optimization opportunities and automation across the organization. This role regularly works with information that requires a high level of discretion and confidentiality. RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES: * Support and maintain the Human Resources Information System including, but not limited to, system administration, configuration, assessing and resolving HRIS problems, and performing scheduled activities. Liaise with third parties and other stakeholders (e.g., Payroll). * Partner with HR Analytics Supervisor and internal stakeholders to ensure that the application configuration supports business requirements. * Assist in the review, testing and implementation of HRIS system upgrades or patches. Collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate the application of upgrade or fix. Document process and results. * Review product release notes and keep management team apprised of release status, new functionalities and solutions, as needed. Identify features that can meet current or future business challenges. * Assist with identifying defects and enhancements using non-production environments to support business needs. Define potential impacts to existing features and processes. * Create and update file feeds to 3rd party vendors. * Help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries, analyzing data, and creating and running various audits. * Oversee Ceridian Dayforce HCM support portal and tickets. * Write, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries for HR Business Partners, the field, and other departments. * Coordinate payroll transactions, such as mass data changes, benefit & compensation updates, and other such HRIS transactions that impact payroll processing. * Work with end users to provide best practices and tips on usage including system training, documentation and support, as necessary. ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: * Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Human Resources or Business is required. * 1 to 3 years of experience working with HRIS systems with an emphasis on system administration, configuration, support, maintenance and enhancements. * Experience with Ceridian Dayforce conversion/implementation, preferred.

    • An understanding of HRIS database design, structure, functions and processes, and experience with database and report writing; experience with Ceridian Dayforce strongly preferred. * Proficiency in Excel. Minimum requirements include: VLOOKUP, IF, SUBTOTAL, and filtering and sorting. * Strong ability to operate, maintain and troubleshoot technology issues. The company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
