Job Description: The Videographer position is directly accountable to the Executive Director of Strategic Communications for the following duties and responsibilities: Advising and coordinating all aspects of storytelling through video production from conception through delivery, including storyboarding, content creation, props, budgeting, filming, and organizing the timeline, editing, producing and delivering video for internal and/or external audiences. Will generate video projects for digital signage, web, tv, social media, special events, etc. Responsible for shooting or coordinating drone footage. Will be required to work occasional evenings and weekends. Will be required to drive to various campus locations and others as needed. Other duties as required by the Supervisor. Requirements: Bachelor degree in video production, journalism, public relations, marketing or related field plus 2-4 years relevant work experience. Demonstrated significant experience editing video using professional products such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro and/or Avid. Demonstrated understanding of all phases of video production, pre-production through post production. Ability to tell compelling stories and produce them quickly, similar to a videographer at a news station. Demonstrated ability in sound design, motion graphics and graphic design application. Experience in still photography. Experience in daily journalism, corporate or higher education video production. FAA drone certification or desire to obtain certification. Experience uploading video and writing to social media platforms. Ability to positively and professionally represent the College on campus and in the community. Possess a valid driver's license with a safe driving record. Must be able to safely haul and lift video equipment up to 25 lbs.
