    Job Description

    The Keough School Dean’s Office is seeking a reliable, proactive student assistant to support our daily operations and maintain a welcoming environment for our faculty, staff, and visitors during the summer term.

    Role Overview:

    This position is a blend of hospitality, administrative support, and facilities maintenance. The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in a well-organized workspace and is ready to jump in on various projects as they arise.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Office Stewardship: Perform daily "housekeeping" to keep the suite professional (sweeping/mopping, dusting, and managing the dishwasher).
    • Front Desk & Hospitality: Serve as a primary point of contact; greeting guests and directing visitors with a professional demeanor.
    • Logistics & Mail: Sort and deliver incoming mail and packages throughout the office.
    • Event Support: Assist with the setup and execution of Keough School events as needed.
    • Special Projects: Support office transitions by packing and moving boxes or organizing storage areas.

    Schedule & Duration:

    • Dates: May 11, 2026 – August 21, 2026
    • Hours: 20 hours per week (Schedule to be determined with the supervisor)
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Strong communication and organization skills.
    • Previous office work experience would be preferred but not required. A strong desire to learn new skills
    • Courteous, responsible, and dependable
    • Able to lift up to 20 pounds
