    TRI POINTE ASSURANCE IS LOOKING FOR AN EXPERIENCED, DETAIL ORIENTATED, PROBLEM SOLVING INDIVIDUAL TO JOIN OUR TALENTED GROUP AS A TITLE OFFICER IN OUR SCOTTSDALE OFFICE LOCATED IN ARIZONA.

     

     

    POSITION HIGHLIGHTS: Ensure the accuracy of the title information used in preparation of the commitment by creating accurate Base files, by performing and examining title searches in a timely manner, by preparing and distributing commitments as needed, typing and review of title policies and by assisting in the effective resolution of any title issues.

      

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Review preliminary title reports to determine insurability, with primary accountability for all title underwriting requirements
    • Reviews and approves title commitment in accordance with Company procedures and guidelines, determines curative requirements needed to insure the transaction
    • Conduct, orders and preforms property search through title plants and outside vendors
    • Prepare and obtain search packages/abstracts for examination
    • Create and update base/master files as directed
    • Examine plats, recorded documents, tax certification and surveys to make determinations to be placed on title commitments
    • Updating commitments to include, plant dates, sales prices, loan amount, lender and buyer vesting
    • Seek out and interpret guidance from internal management and underwriter in order to create a clear to close status
    • Proactive focus, addressing inquiries from internal and external parties professionally and timely, rectifying issues immediately.
    • Monitor and maintain several reports and work ques.
    • Other duties as assigned

     

      

    POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

    • A High School diploma required
    • A minimum of 2-4 years as a Title Officer
    • Ability to type 40+ WPM
    • Strong computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office and title software applications
    • Knowledge of Multi State experience (AZ, TX, CO & NV), a plus
    • Specialize in RESPA with understanding of company's underwriting guidelines
    • Understanding of title and settlement rules and regulations
    • Effective communication, presentation, and organization skills
    • Knowledge of abstracting and examining

  • Qualifications

    MINIMUM EDUCATION:

    • Nursing Degree from accredited school of Nursing.

    • Licensed in the state of Kentucky or compact state.

    REQUIRED LICENSES: Registered Nurses 

    • BLS certification – American Heart Association (Healthcare Provider) or American Red Cross (Healthcare Provider) required, must be current.

    • ACLS within 90 days of hire date or transfer to the department.

    • PALS preferred.
