Outdoor Adventure Instructor at Overnight Camp in Colorado
Colorado Mountain Camp staff have the amazing opportunity to mentor kids through a residential camp experience, and co-lead a group of up to thirteen campers in a variety of onsite and off-site adventure based activities including backpacking, kayaking, mountain biking, and climbing.
Instructors are extremely safety conscious while providing comprehensive instruction in outdoor living skills and adventure-based sports.
In addition to teaching campers technical skills, instructors will help campers develop confidence and teamwork skills in an outdoor environment. Instructors live in cabins with campers and mentor them throughout their time at camp.
The ideal candidates are detail oriented, highly organized, and ready for action.
Applicants must also have significant experience with children grades 2nd-12th and experience in at least one of our core sports.
Just as important, being a CMC instructor means leading camp traditions, skits, songs and fun!
