Responsibilities: This position is responsible for assisting with marketing communications strategies for multiple audiences and delivering creative solutions for both internal and external audiences. Tasks include developing, designing, writing, editing and/or coordinating: proposals, qualifications, client presentations, web site content, brochures, project profiles, advertisement, social media content, newsletter articles, internal communications, and events. Position Requirements: * Must be available to work at least 20 hours per week between the time period of 8am - 5pm, Monday through Friday. No work on weekends. * Current enrollment in a college degree program related to communications, public relations, advertising or marketing. High school diploma or GED equivalent required. * Computer skills: preferred proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, social media, Microsoft Office Suite. * Preferred candidate will have a solid understanding of the following: print and digital design, copy writing and proofing, graphic design and layout, and marketing communication practices. * Skills: * Works well independently and in team settings with a positive attitude * Creative and innovative approach to communications and branding * Strong initiative and drive * Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail * Ability to multi-task * Maintain confidentiality * Communication skills: Excellent communication skills both oral and written. Excellent interpersonal and business communication skills. * Relationships: Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships and enhance cross-functional collaboration with team members at ALL levels of the company and with external suppliers. Acute sense of judgment, tact and diplomacy. Ability to interact with all levels of management. * Must be able to satisfactorily pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
