Our mission is to prepare the next generation of social workers to address the most urgent challenges of the 21st century. BUSSW invites applications for the position of Practicum Coordinator to join our dynamic Practicum Education team. This role is essential to ensuring that all Master of Social Work (MSW) students receive a rigorous and meaningful practicum experience that is closely aligned with core social work competencies and career readiness. The Practicum Coordinator works with students across all BUSSW program platforms Online, On-Campus, and Off-Campus to secure practicum placements that meet educational and professional standards. The coordinator collaborates with and supports Practicum Advisors, contributes to the development and instruction of Practicum Education Seminars, facilitates practicum preparation workshops and information sessions, and serves as both a practicum advisor and seminar instructor. In agency settings where a social worker is not on staff, the coordinator will provide virtual supervision. A minimum of three years of experience serving as a practicum education advisor or supervisor is expected. Social work licensure is required, with LICSW or an equivalent credential strongly preferred. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills are essential for success in this role. At BUSSW, we believe that diversity and inclusion across race, gender, sexual orientation, and all dimensions of identity are fundamental to the excellence of our academic and community life. We are especially eager to welcome a colleague who shares our deep commitment to social justice and to fostering an inclusive, equitable environment where all students, faculty, and staff can thrive.
