Job Description

The Parent Educator | Talk With Your Baby (TWYB) plays a key role in empowering families by delivering engaging parent education classes and coordinating community-based family events. This role supports a collaborative, multi-organization initiative dedicated to promoting early childhood development through meaningful parent-child interactions.

Using a research-backed curriculum, the Parent Educator helps caregivers understand the critical role they play in their child’s development, particularly in building strong language and cognitive foundations. The TWYB program is rooted in the belief that talking with babies and young children is essential for nurturing brain development, expanding vocabulary, and laying the groundwork for future reading and social success.

If you’re passionate about combining teaching, relationship-building, and program coordination to support families during the most formative years of a child’s life, and are fluent in both English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree, with1-2 years of experience in early childhood education
• Must be able to engage diverse populations
• Experience working with young children and parents
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Must be able to walk a mile without assistance, lift 40 lbs, and stand for 4 hours
• Applicants must be bilingual in English and Spanish

Hiring Pay Range : $16.14 - $27.29/hour
