Assist in NSF funded research projects regarding fabrication, 3D printing programming and technology integration including efforts related to Internet of things, AR/VR/MR, robotics, haptic and tactile feedback, and sensors (see http://holodeck.nyu.ed).

Activities will involve: programming, fabrication and prototype development and testing and implementation of existing applications.

• Art or Engineering creative fabrication project experience
• Strong fabrication skills
• Self-starter with good problem solving skills
• Good references
• Applicants should be available to work 15-20 hours per week

Preferred Experience and Skills:

• Production level fabrication experience
• Strong 2D, 3D and electronics fabrication skills and experience
• Strong programming skills C++, JAVA, Python, Unity or other related languages
• Experience in team based projects
