This individual will assist with the creation, scheduling, dissemination and editing of print and electronic communications; specifically, this position will include developing and writing news stories, feature articles and press releases related to Penn State Scranton for distribution on its website, newswire, regional media, and social media; write and edit content for the Penn State Scranton web site; edit and assist in the development of content for marketing materials; and taking photos of events/interviews. Excellent communication, customer service, organizational, and multi-tasking skills, together with a strong commitment to teamwork required. Knowledge of AP style is a plus. This job will work 20 hours a week and requires a Bachelors degree and a minimum of 2 years of related professional experience.
