The Marketing Intern is responsible for assisting with marketing and communications efforts and will report to the Marketing Coordinator. The Marketing Intern will have the opportunity to gain a broad overview of Global Programs and how its duties fit in to the overall global strategy of Penn State. Duties may include assistance with graphic design, information sessions, social media, the creation of marketing materials, digital signage, event planning, or any number of other administrative projects. Job Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates who are currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program related to marketing, communications, public relations, graphic design or the like. The Intern must be able to work autonomously and take accountability for integrating her/himself with Global Programs units- Education Abroad, Strategic Initiatives, Global Operations and Intercultural Learning, and International Students and Scholars Advising. Creative approaches to project management, the ability to work with complex systems and multiple stakeholders, and a positive attitude are great assets to success in Global Programs. This internship is a paid position and the Marketing Intern is asked to commit up to 20 hours a week. We will gladly work around class/study schedule.
