    Experience : 0 Description : Penn State Health St. Joseph Regional Health Network Location: US:PA:Reading Work Type: Full Time FTE: 1.0 Shift: Day Hours: Varied R ecruiter Information: Contact Natalie Speece at nspeece@pennstatehealth.psu.edu JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of a licensed provider (e.g. RN, Physician) and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team, provides practical nursing care for patients referred to the Clinic within the scope of LPN practice and in accordance with the standards/procedures of Penn State Health St. Joseph . An incumbent also performs related support activities (e.g. answering phones, checking patients in/out, assembling charts, etc) as required. An incumbent uses initiative in carrying out recurring tasks within the scope of practice and established standards of care. An RN or Physician provides specific instructions for new, difficult or unusual tasks, and is consulted when unusual/ unfamiliar circumstances are encountered. Incumbents are also accountable for developing collaborative relationships with members of the clinic at all associated facilities; participates in clinic-related business meetings, maintaining knowledge and skills levels by attending educational offerings as required. Education: - Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program. Experience: - One year of related work experience, preferably in a medical clinic or acute care healthcare environment. License/Certification: - Current certification as a registered LPN. - Current Healthcare BLS Certification.
