  • Responsibilities

    Position Description:

    • The media supervisor will oversee a team of 3 media team members
    • The photographers are responsible for capturing, sorting, and uploading photos daily to be shared with our community.

    The supervisor’s role is:

    • Oversee and provide guidance to photographers
    • Take quality marketing photos as needed
    • Ensure the quality of regular uploads by reviewing photos prior to public upload
    • Provide feedback to photographers on their ongoing work
    • Review and approve materials created by photographers (short videos, blog entries, etc)
    • Communicate with senior camp leadership
    • Lead bi-weekly team meetings with all photographers/videographer
    • Serve as another floating team member daily
    • Review and approve photography schedules
    • Responsible for maintaining, storing, and tracking the use of photographic equipment
    • Assist in additional projects as determined by Direct Supervisor
    • Communicate with Management for any photos needed
  • Qualifications
    • Must know how to work a DSLR
    • Must be able to walk the property daily (Bicycle is permitted)
    • Must have 1 year management experience
    • Must have 2 year photography
    • Must be willing to pass a background check upon hire
    • Must be able to pass a drug test upon hire

    $3600-$3800 summer contract

    River Way is a place to build confidence, skills and experience within targeted majors (but not limited to) such as Liberal Studies, Kinesiology, Recreation Tourism Management, Event Management, Arts, Communication; etc. Learn skills through over 55 hours of intensive training in Child Behavior Modification, Conflict/Resolution, Lifeguard, CPR, 1st Aid and more. This is where you are a role model to so many amazing children and get hands-on experience working with them.
