    JOB DESCRIPTION

    We are looking for a talented, creative person join our team as an HR Business Partner where you will serve as a primary contact and expert for assigned departments to support the needs of the department and applies HR Concepts.

    RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

     

    • Builds credibility within assigned departments by demonstrating an understanding of the business strategy and challenges, aligning the departments' short-term and long-term people goals with the business strategy, and facilitating and implementing initiatives to assist the business in achieving success.
    • Recommends, develops and implements programs to promote employee performance, engagement, satisfaction and retention.
    • Analyzes employee relations issues. Investigates employee complaints, including complex matters, consults with legal and senior leadership as appropriate and makes sound, timely recommendations for management action and follow-through to ensure closure.
    • Supports managers and associates during the performance management process which includes defining goals, identifying key job responsibilities, creating development plans, assessing performance and evaluating compensation.
    • Collaborates with the Total Rewards team as appropriate to price new, revised and existing jobs to ensure consistent application of the Company's compensation philosophy.
    • Influences department managers consistently to follow appropriate processes and properly document issues.
    • Champions change and effectively guides management and associates through organizational change.
    • Improves and streamlines operations through the continuous assessment of policies, procedures and program effectiveness/value, leveraging technology whenever possible.

    Required Skills Required Experience

    QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
    • 5 years of experience as an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner. SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP or similar preferred.
    • Possesses broad knowledge of most HR functional areas, including compensation and benefits and is able to demonstrate in depth knowledge of talent acquisition and employee relations
  • Qualifications
    • Requires ability to work independently on broader assignments with the responsibility for the planning of work. Makes decisions within accepted standards.
    • Good organizational skills, with special attention to details.
    • Ability to maintain confidential information.
    • Ability to work cooperatively with college personnel.
    • Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong analytical and organizational skills.

    REQUIRED EDUCATION:

    Graduation from an  accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree.
