    Creative Internship - Fall 2018 Powell Tate 4 reviews - Washington, DC 20001 Full-time, Internship Weber Shandwick, an award-winning global communications and engagement firm with offices around the world, is seeking talented and enthusiastic design and copywriting students or recent graduates to intern in our Washington, D.C. office. We are looking for qualified applicants for a paid internship for our creative team, who will work on a variety of client and internal projects. From advertising to brand development to web and other digital media, our work is as varied and interesting as our client roster. In addition to the day-to-day responsibilities, we offer lunchtime seminars as well as a group project to enhance the learning experience and provide greater exposure to the practice of communications and public relations. Interns are assigned staff mentors to help guide and evaluate them through their professional experience and may have the opportunity to present their project to members of our staff at the end of the program. Responsibilities: * Design and/or Copywriting * Strategic thinking * Concepting/ideation * Production * Photo search * Photo re-touching Qualifications * You must be a student or recent college graduate who received academic credit at an accredited college or university during the spring 2018 semester * We are looking for candidates who have demonstrated leadership, creativity and curiosity. Candidates should also be familiar with a variety of social platforms (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Snapchat, etc.) and the latest news and trends impacting these channels. * Candidates should be available to work a full-time schedule. Business hours are 9 a.m. to 6p.m., Monday through Friday. * The fall program can last up to 15 weeks.
