Job Description

Pratt Community College, an NJCAA two year public college in Pratt, Kansas, invites applications for the position of Head Athletic Trainer / Sports Medicine Instructor. Reporting to the Director of Athletics, the successful candidate is responsible for the operation and management of the athletic training program and for the coordination and designated instructional duties of the sports medicine program. This is a full-time (12 month) position with excellent benefits.

Minimum Qualifications: A Master’s degree is required. NATA Certification required. Minimum of two (2) years athletic training experience required. Athletic training experience at the collegiate level preferred. This is an opportunity for the right person to run their own program. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to overseeing the administration of the athletic training room, and health care of the athletes; recruiting, coordinating and supervising all student athletic trainers; overseeing training coverage of all athletic home events; evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of all athletic injuries; maintenance of records; department budget; and equipment purchases. Salary commensurate with education and experience.
