Experience: Entry level Travel Required: None Overview of the Role: TheAccounting & Finance Internworks in a fast paced environment with the opportunity to directly interact with and learn from a highly experienced team. The intern will help with general duties in accounting and finance. This internship is for a student who is currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate finance/accounting program. Primary Job Duties: -Wear many hats, getting the opportunity to touch all pieces of finance and accounting -Have the opportunity and be expected to get involved in a variety of projects based on interest -Help with a range of administrative tasks associated with a high growth business from collecting mail, ordering supplies, scanning and faxing, and data entry -Data and journal entry for Accounts Payable -Prepare invoice allocation schedule -Assist with gathering back-up support and preparing of journal entries -Assist with bank reconciliations -Support the payment processing team -Other duties as required Minimum Qualifications: -Currently pursuing your graduate or undergraduate degree -Excellent academic record (higher than a 3.0 GPA preferred) -Prior experience in an internship and/or office setting preferred -Interest in finance and accounting and a willingness to learn more -An ambitious go-getter, willing to roll-up your sleeves to get the job done -Strong attention to detail -Organized, energetic, and productive you aim to achieve a lot in a day and you generally do -Resourceful, able to hit the ground running and able to figure out challenges on your own -Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours a week -Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulations Interpersonal Skills & Attributes: -Will communicate confidently and maturely with senior level colleagues and partners -Ability to think through problems creatively -Excited about meeting and exceeding goals -Understand and embrace the advantages and disadvantages of working in a high growth environment -Willing to be a jack of all trades Physical Demands: Thephysicaldemands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
