  • Responsibilities

    This position is responsible for the development and tracking of the information reporting system within the designated service area. This position is responsible for assisting the assigned Supervisor in generating accurate, timely, program reports.

    QUALIFICATIONS ESSENTIAL:

    1. Associate degree in related field, or its equivalent in a combination of education and experience

    2. Two years computer entry experience

    3. Ability to independently operate standard office equipment including personal computer

    4. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing

    5. Complete criminal record check from Department of Health & Welfare’s Criminal History Unit prior to consideration for hire

    ADDITIONAL:

    · Working knowledge of the Head Start/Early Head Start program

    · Working knowledge of Child Plus, the Program’s current tracking system

    · Ability to communicate in Spanish or another second language used by area families

    TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ESSENTIAL:

    1. Treat participants, fellow staff, and community members with positive regard.

    2. Assist in recording in center meetings.

    3. Provide clerical support and assist in compiling reports as assigned.

    4. Design and disseminate the center newsletter.

    5. Assist in recruitment efforts, complete application process and enrollment status.

    6. Enter Head Start/Early Head Start family information into Program’s tracking system for the assigned service area(s).

    7. Enter data and generate required reports.

    8. Aggregate center data for use by Center Supervisor and Services Specialists in a timely manner.

    9. Assist with Comprehensive Community Assessment, self-assessment, and PIR.

    10. Carry out assigned duties with limited supervision.

    11. Participate in an individualized continuing education plan including CPR and First Aid.

  • Qualifications

    Minimum

    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, IT, accounting or finance. In lieu of 4-year degree, 10+ yrs experience with a 2-year accounting degree will be considered.

    • Understanding of database and information flows to allow for report creation and manipulation of downloaded data

    • Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.

    • Strong analytical skills

    • Strong Computer Application Skills including MS Excel, MS Word and PPT.

    • Effective verbal and written communication skills

    • Demonstrated interpersonal skills

    • Demonstrated organizational and administrative skills.

    • Demonstrated problem-solving ability

    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while applying good judgment

    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

    Preferred:

    • 3 - 5 years’ experience in a similar analyst role or related accounting role

    • 3 years’ experience in a regulated manufacturing environment

    • SAP experience including BW

    • Analytical tool experience including Power BI

    Other :

    • Must be able to work independently without day-to-day direction

    • Role will serve the broader operations organization and will be considered a subject matter expert in the behind-the-scenes transactions within Operations

    • Needs to have a good background on financial accounting principles
