    Opportunity at a Glance

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Project Manager to lead and coordinate online course development initiatives for university-level programs. This role partners closely with instructional designers, faculty, and academic leadership to ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of digital learning experiences. The Project Manager also liaises with technical teams, administrative staff, external vendors and consultants as needed to support project success.

    Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with academic stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables for online course development.
    • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations aligned with instructional design and academic calendars.
    • Coordinate cross-functional teams—including faculty, media producers, and learning designers—through all phases of course development.
    • Monitor project progress, track milestones, and adjust plans as needed to ensure timely delivery within scope and budget.
    • Identify and resolve project risks and roadblocks, escalating issues when necessary.
    • Facilitate regular status updates and communicate changes in scope, schedule, or resources to stakeholders.
    • Manage vendor relationships and balance internal and external resources effectively.
    • Support continuous improvement by documenting lessons learned and contributing to process enhancements.
    • Provide coaching and feedback to project contributors to ensure alignment with project goals and quality standards.
    • Ensure compliance with institutional policies, accessibility standards, and quality assurance guidelines.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Project Management, Education, or related field preferred.
    • Minimum 5 years of full lifecycle project management experience, preferably in higher education or e-learning environments.
    • Familiarity with instructional design processes and online learning technologies.
    • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.
    • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Birdview, JIRA, MS Project, Monday.com).
    • PMP certification preferred.

    Additional Information

    _In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $53,520 and $96,736. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
