Handle the proposal development needs of the department, including assisting faculty researchers, and students to identify funding opportunities, developing budgets and other materials for proposals, confirming all required documents are available for routing and submission, and creating a repository of document samples for faculty use. The incumbent will work closely with faculty to complete applications for renewal or supplemental funding requests and will be responsible for pre-award preparations. This individual will work with faculty, sponsors, and pre- and post-award specialists in OSP to resolvepotential issues associated with proposals under development. He or she will also be responsible for completing University effort reporting, managing department audits as assigned by the Department Director, and reviewing and approving travel and expense reports.
